Emotional Freedom Technique EFT

The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) was developed by Gary Craig. He was a student of Dr. Roger Callahan who devised TFT (Thought Field Training). Craig refined and developed his own Emotional Healing Technique known as EFT. Both of these Emotional healings systems are trademarked by those who created them.

Simply put, EFT is a method that is capable of relieving (if not eliminating) emotional turmoil. It is proposed that the world and universe is nothing more than energy. Needless to say, our physical bodies are more than energy. Everyone realizes that when energy gets stuck or ceases to run smoothly, your electrical circuits do not light the house. Our bodies are Meridians of flowing energy and blockages sometimes disrupt our quality of life. The modern day miracle begins with EFT. Many people practice various forms of energy healing, EFT is only one of these. Different names are used and different methods. Healers today know that most all causes of illness are due to negative emotions. Once again, when energy is blocked, the natural flow of energy is disrupted and our life force is impaired. Our quality of life is not as good as it could be. EFT Techniques are simple yet very effective. EFT is an emotional form of acupuncture. Instead of needles, we tap the meridians or pressure points with our fingers while the client is thinking about their emotional problem. EFT can relieve both emotional and physical problems.

Be true to yourself.  If you're feeling uncomfortable or threatened in any way, you should leave immediately and look elsewhere.  Watch out for any therapies that don't respect your value system or where you feel that your autonomy isn't respected.  Even though you're going to an expert or practitioner for their guidance, you should always feel safe and that the process involves a free exchange of ideas.

Always tell your doctor if you are using an alternative therapy or if you are thinking about combining an alternative therapy with your conventional medical treatment. It may not be safe to forgo your conventional medical treatment and rely only on an alternative therapy.
